For safety concerns, the OASIS Executive Committee reviews all information posted for appropriateness. For user protection, security measures are in place.

Only after completing the OASIS Accountability Workshops and get DCS approval can offenders request to have their Letter of Apology and Self-Improvement Reports posted to the OASIS website, which can be viewed by victims, indirect victims and concerned community members. In this way, knowledge and experiences can be shared anonymously for the benefit of all who use the system. Offenders learn about the impact their actions had on both victims/communities and share their remorse; victims are given the opportunity to receive a sincere apology from offenders.
